Returns
When
you receive your package open it immediately,
inspect it and try on any wearable items.
Call us with any issues you may have with
the order immediately.
If you need to return
something, please send an email torreturns@costumecauldron.com
or call us at 1.800.890.0409 within 3 days
of receiving your order for an authorization
# and return shipping address information.
We will accept returns and exchanges if they
meet the guidelines above and are within 3
days of delivery as long as you have received
a return authorization #. The items must be
resalable unused/unopened in the original
packaging (the packaging must not be damaged
in any way with the advertising tags in tact).
Please check the sizing
chart to choose your size carefully before
purchasing to avoid any issues. If you have
ANY questions about the size of a product
please ask our customer service via email
or by phone.
Returns/Exchanges
must be postmarked back to our office 3 days
from the received delivery date.
Costume Cauldron requires that you return
your Product using a traceable method like
UPS or Parcel Post. Costume Cauldron will
not accept returns sent COD. If the Product
was damaged in transit, Costume Cauldron requests
that you hold the Product and original packaging
and call us the same day you sign for it.
Shipping charges
of any kind are non refundable. This
includes any return shipping on exchanges.
Upon receipt and
confirmation of the return, the customer's
credit card/account will be credited for the
amount of the purchase price of the item and
the tax paid (if any), less shipping charges
including return shipping. All orders returned
will be charged a 15% restocking fee. All
exchanges will be charged a new shipping/handling
fee.
In cases of the
wrong product, damaged or defective product
being shipped by Costume Cauldron, the customer
may choose to have the product replaced with
the identical product or the missing element
sent out. If the product shipped was not the
product ordered, the customer may elect to
have the correct product shipped.
Defective/Damaged
Items
Unfortunately a small percentage of the products
shipped may have defects or missing elements
that make them incomplete. It is not our intention
to sell these items but it is impossible for
us to thoroughly inspect our manufacture prepackaged
products. If your package contains a defective/damaged
item call our customer service center to discuss
a solution.

Back
Orders
We
usually have a large stock of products but if you
purchase a product we have on back order, an email
will be disbursed alerting you to the day that particular
item will be available and when your order will ship
in full. This will delay the order. Our customers
who have ordered a back order item may elect to have
the remainder of the order shipped first and the back
ordered item shipped when available. An additional
shipping charge will be required for a splitting of
the order.
Canceling back order items is also an option. Inventory
levels are updated to the site every day during the
Halloween season and less frequently during the slower
months. During the month of October we will take the
initiative to cancel orders completely that have back
order items to help with our workflow of orders. This
will also speed up your reorder process for in stock
items during the busy season.
Canceled
Orders
Your order may be canceled during
our processing timeframe before it is shipped. There
are several reasons for an order cancellation. If
an item is out of stock on your order, the complete
order may be cancelled to allow for a faster reordering
by you. If your payment was declined or returned NSF
this would also cause a cancellation. If an order
is unable to meet a delivery deadline it may also
be canceled. Costume Cauldron reserves the right to
cancel any order at any time with a full refund given
without further compensation to the customer.
Delivery
Time
Most orders ship within 1-4 business days from when
the order is placed. This timeframe does not include
any customs delays if your order, is being shipped
through a boarder crossing. In the event you require

Halloween
Delivery Deadlines
We experience a high volume of orders during
October for the Halloween season, and work at a 2-6
day processing speed plus delivery time from our North
Carolina shipping warehouse.
Our delivery deadlines for orders to be delivered
for Oct 31st are as follows

Once we have added the tracking number to
an order, tracking the package en route is available

Once a tracking has been added to your account and
emailed to you, it is your responsibility to divert
and clear up any receiving delivery issues with the
carrier. Any packages with failed delivery that are
returned to our office will be charged the delivery
cost, packaging/handling and a 15% restocking fee.

Sales
tax of 5% (GST) will only be assessed for orders
that are shipped to Canada and an additional
tax of 7% (PST) for those shipments to the province
of British Columbia. This is due to the fact
that our corporate office is in Vancouver BC.

Shipping
We
have a few suppliers for our costume products. Your
order may arrive in two separate packages if you have
a mixture of these different suppliers. There is no
additional fee for the split in shipment but they
may arrive on different days.
All
shipments are sent with a traceable method only.
Pick-ups
are not available at our warehouse.
US shipments
are sent Ground, 3 Day Saver, 2nd Day and Next Day
UPS. The shipping fee is based on weight automatically
calculated through our shopping cart. All shipping
times quoted are based on the time it leaves our warehouse(1-4
days after the order is placed). If you need something
to arrive within 48 hrs, please contact us at 1.800.890.0409.
Pick-ups are not available.
Canadian/Mexican/Virgin
Island shipments
are sent Standard UPS, Worldwide
Express UPS or USPS Global Express Mail (EMS) . The
shipping fee is based on weight automatically calculated
through our shopping cart. All shipping times quoted
are based on the time it leaves our warehouse(1-4
days after the order is placed).We can not offer 2nd
day or overnight services to our Canadian/Mexican/Virgin
Island customers due to border/customs delay.
International
shipments
are sent
Worldwide Express UPS or USPS Global Express Mail
(EMS). The shipping fee is based on weight automatically
calculated through our shopping cart. All shipping
times quoted are based on the time it leaves our warehouse(1-4
days after the order is placed). Please allow 2-3
weeks for international orders.
PO Box
& APO addresses
will automatically be sent USPS as UPS will not ship
to these destinations.
Note:
items/orders being shipped outside the US through
border crossings:
Certain countries may charge additional fees, such
as custom fees and independent carrier fees. Costume
Cauldron can not anticipate these fees and will not
be able to reimburse you for any additional fees incurred
or predict additional shipping time due to these customs
issues. Please contact your local customs office or
branch office of the Postal Service to determine what
type of fees you may expect based upon the type of
merchandise you wish to order. If for any reason your
package is undeliverable and is returned to our warehouse
you will be charged for these fees as we the shipper
are billed them on the return.
Our head office and payment gateway is located in
Vancouver BC, Canada; in some cases the issuing bank
of a credit card may charge a foreign order fee. Costume
Cauldron can not anticipate these fees and will not
be able to reimburse you for any additional charges
incurred by an issuing bank. These charges are also
non refundable by us. Contact your issuing credit
card company for any information regarding this type
of fee if any.
Package
& Handling Fee
As
an online retailer we know the cost of hiring staff
to package and handle your order for shipping. This
fee is added to your order to cover those costs. Unlike
other online companies who charge upwards of a $10
handling fee, ours is modest in comparison, visible
in your cart before you checkout with your payment
information.

Promo Images
Promotional images supplied by the manufacture may
vary slightly from the actual product. The image may
contain items not included in the sale such as footwear,
makeup, accessories or other items to enhance the
look of the item. If an element is not listed in the
description it will not be included in the product.
From time to time the manufacture may alter or discontinue
an element of a product and we can not anticipate
these changes. We will do what we can to rectify an
issue and update a product description and image when
necessary.
