Details Esmeralda lived in a small remote village of Spain during the Medieval Ages, and was raised by her poor father. A fine looking, strong young count named Sergio was riding his white horse throughout the countryside one day, and took a detour path up to their cottage in the fields, to inquire if he might be permitted to lodge there for the evening. He then spotted Esmeralda, the lovely village wench, who was bent down picking flowers in her simple village maid dress. Though she was poor, and her peasant dress was not like the wealthy affluent women he was accustomed to, its white cottony ankle-length color and flowing simple beauty with its crushed green velvet overskirt and loose off-the-shoulder collar, which revealed her lovely white shoulders, made him fall instantly in love. He could see by the fitted burgundy corset vest that laced up the front that her demure figure was much more lovely than all of the fat, overfed affluent upper class women with poofy hoop dresses. He swung her up on his horse, with her simple village wench costume dress billowing in the breeze, and rode off with her into the sunset, and they lived wenchily ever after.
