Details Makeup has been around for nearly 6000 years, the earliest Egyptians used makeup containing mercury and lead. Fortunately for us today makeup has come miles and miles from there and is now completely safe and non-toxic for us today. Cosmetics have played important roles throughout history. In the middle age it was symbol of status and beauty the paler your skin was. Even today makeup can be tattooed on your face permanently so beauty lovers don’t have to constantly remove and reapply their faces. For those of us who prefer a less permanent solution, and tend to only wear it on special occasions like Halloween, there are plenty of grease makeup products that allow us to transform in to animals, beasts, and fictional characters, change our appearances drastically, even just temporarily. Grease makeup brings a lot of joy to young and old. It changes us, it allows us to be who we want to be in the moment. Face painting has always been a fun pass time for social gatherings, birthday parties, and fundraisers.
